- 31:1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help; They rely on horses And trust in chariots because they are many And in horsemen because they are very strong; But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, Nor seek Jehovah!

祸哉，那些下埃及求帮助的；他们仗赖马匹，倚靠众多的车辆，并倚靠极其强壮的马兵，却不仰望以色列的圣者，也不求问耶和华！
- 31:2 But He also is wise and will bring ill upon them; And He does not turn back His words, But will rise up against the house of evildoers And against the help of the workers of iniquity.

其实耶和华也有智慧；祂必降灾祸，并不收回自己的话，却要兴起攻击那作恶之家，又攻击那帮助作孽之人的。
- 31:3 The Egyptians are mere men and not God, And their horses are mere flesh and not spirit; Thus Jehovah will stretch out His hand, And he who helps will stumble and he who is helped will fall, And all of them will be consumed together.

埃及人不过是人，并不是神；他们的马不过是血肉，并不是灵；耶和华一伸手，那帮助人的必绊跌，那受帮助的也必仆倒，都一同灭亡。
- 31:4 For Jehovah has spoken thus to me, As the lion or the lion cub Roars over its prey And because of it a crowd of shepherds Is called out, But it is not frightened by their voice, Nor overcome by their noise; So Jehovah of hosts will descend To wage war on Mount Zion and on its hill.

耶和华对我如此说：狮子和少壮狮子获食咆哮，就是喊许多牧人来攻击它，它总不因他们的声音惊惶，也不因他们的喧哗缩伏；万军之耶和华也必如此降临在锡安山及其冈陵上争战。
- 31:5 Like flying birds So Jehovah of hosts will protect Jerusalem; He will protect and deliver it; He will pass over and rescue it.

雀鸟怎样扇翅覆雏，万军之耶和华也要照样保护耶路撒冷；祂必保护且拯救、逾越且保全。
- 31:6 Return to Him from whom men have deeply revolted, O children of Israel.

以色列人哪，你们要归向祂，就是你们所深深悖逆的那位。
- 31:7 For in that day each man will cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which your hands have made for you as a sin.

到那日，各人必将自己的银偶像和金偶像，就是你们亲手为自己所造的罪，都抛弃了。
- 31:8 And the Assyrian will fall by the sword not of a man, And the sword not of man will devour him. Thus he will flee from a sword, And his young men will be forced into labor.

亚述人必倒在刀下，并非人的刀；有刀要将他吞灭，并非人的刀。他必逃避刀剑，他的少年人必成为服苦役的。
- 31:9 And his rock will pass away in terror, And his princes will be dismayed by the standard, Declares Jehovah, whose fire is in Zion And whose furnace is in Jerusalem.

他的磐石必因惊吓挪去，他的首领必因旌旗惊惶；这是那有火在锡安、有炉在耶路撒冷的耶和华说的。
