1肆信徒是世上的光，就是让他们的光照在人前，消除世界黑暗的人—太五14~16，弗五8：一光是神的同在；因着我们由神而生，我们现今在主里乃是光，行事为人要像光的儿女—约壹一5，弗五8~9。

1Ⅳ The believers are the light of the world, those who let their light shine before men to dispel the world's darkness—Matt. 5:14-16; Eph. 5:8:

2二蒙拯救脱离着迷、自欺的路，乃是活在光中，向神的光照敞开，而不自己造光—诗三六8~9，八十17~19，一三九23~24，约壹一5、7、9，赛二5，五十10~11：

2A Light is the presence of God; because we have been born of God, we are now light in the Lord and must walk as children of light—1 John 1:5; Eph. 5:8-9.

3１着迷之人的现象是，他所想所作的完全是错的，却自以为并相信他完全是对的—太六22~23，赛五20。

3B The way to be saved from obsession, self-deception, is to live in the light, be open to God's shining, and not generate our own light—Psa. 36:8-9; 80:17-19; 139:23-24; 1 John 1:5, 7, 9; Isa. 2:5; 50:10-11:

4１ The symptom of a person who is obsessed is that what he thinks and does are totally wrong, yet he thinks and believes that he is totally right—Matt. 6:22-23; Isa. 5:20.

5３着迷、自欺的原因乃是不爱光倒爱黑暗（约三19~20）；骄傲（俄3）；不领受对真理的爱（帖后二10~11，箴二三23）；并且不寻求从独一之神来的荣耀（约五44）。

5２ To have sinned is a matter of defilement; to sin, yet believing that one has not sinned and justifying it, is a matter of darkness—1 John 1:8, 10.

6三生命来自光的照耀，光是在神的话里，并且光是生命的内里感觉—林后四6，诗一一九105、130，赛六六2，约八12，罗八6、14。

6３ The reasons for obsession, self-deception, are loving the darkness rather than the light (John 3:19-20), pride (Obad. 3), not receiving the love of the truth (2 Thes. 2:10-11; Prov. 23:23), and not seeking the glory that is from the only God (John 5:44).

7四 “你的眼睛就是身上的灯，你的眼睛单一的时候，全身就明亮；但你的眼睛不专的时候，身体就黑暗。所以你要察看，你里面的光是否黑暗了。若是你全身明亮，毫无黑暗，就必完全明亮，如同灯的明光照亮你”—路十一34~36。

7C Life comes from the shining of light, light is in the word of God, and light is the inner sense of life—2 Cor. 4:6; Psa. 119:105, 130; Isa. 66:2; John 8:12; Rom. 8:6, 14.

8太五14~16 你们是世上的光。城立在山上，是不能隐藏的。人点灯，也不放在斗底下，乃是放在灯台上，就照亮所有在家里的人。你们的光也当这样照在人前，叫他们看见你们的好行为，就荣耀你们在诸天之上的父。

8Matt. 5:14-16 You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city situated upon a mountain to be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp and place it under the bushel, but on the lampstand; and it shines to all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.

9国度子民在性质上是医治的盐〔太五13〕，在行为上是照亮的光〔14〕。

9In nature the kingdom people are the healing salt [Matt. 5:13], and in behavior they are the shining light [v. 14].

10主耶稣在马太五章十三节说到地，在十四节说到世界。地需要盐，而世界需要光。黑暗不是在地上，乃是在世界里；世界指人类的社会，撒但的系统。世界这个撒但的系统，黑暗的人类社会，需要光。十四节里世上的光，乃是灯的照耀，光照在黑暗里的人。对于这黑暗的世界，诸天之国的子民就是这样的光，除去世界的黑暗（新约总论第五册，一一四至一一五页）。

10In Matthew 5:13 the Lord Jesus spoke of the earth and in verse 14, of the world. For the earth there is the need of salt, but for the world there is the need of light. The darkness is not upon the earth; rather, it is in the world, which denotes human society, a system of Satan. The world, Satan’s system, the dark human society, needs light. The light of the world in verse 14 is the shining of a lamp to enlighten those in darkness. To the darkened world, the people of the kingdom of the heavens are such a light effacing its darkness. 11被附，乃是直接落在撒但的手中，受撒但的支配和约束。着迷，就是自欺。约壹一章八节提到，说自己无罪的乃是自欺的人，也就是着迷的人。至于说谎，与着迷是不同的。说谎的人，良心会受到责备。着迷的人，自己顶有把握，以为绝不是说谎，其实就是说谎。……着迷的人乃是用自己的理想，来作为事实，而且以为是对的。帖后二章十至十二节所说灭亡的人，不领受对真理的爱，反而信从虚谎，这是一件最凄惨的事。我们基督徒若对自己有一种了不得的估价，这乃是心思中的谎言；若是这种谎言不除去，迟早这样的人会着迷。着迷的拯救乃在于诗篇三十六篇九节：“在你的光中，我们必得见光。”这里“你的光”，是指神的光照；“我们必得见光，”是指我们因神的光照，而看见了事情的真相。许多人喜欢根据自己的心思、想法、想像、臆测来看事情，这样的看法，常常与事实是不对的。世界上最可怜的人，乃是自以为是，有把握，又能与人辩论的人。……我们要存着恐惧战兢的心，来到主面前，活在祂的光照中。这样，我们在主的事奉和工作上，才不容易着迷，不至像保罗在没信主之前，所作的事一样。

12光照的原则乃是，只要有一点的缝，光就进来。主说，光是在你里面（太六23），这里面的光就是圣灵住在你里面的光照。但这里面的光照是会受到拦阻的。……约翰三章十九至二十节说，当人自己有了主意，有了成见，就不来就光。所以拦阻得着光照的，第一件事就是自己有了成见，不肯来就光。在真理上进入越深的人，应当越过越对自己没有把握；那些很有把握，不肯就光的人，乃是危险的。第二，喜欢得着从人来的荣耀的，也不能来到主前得光照。由此可见，要得光照乃是有条件的。……第一个条件就是，存心要神的旨意。一个人如果存心要神的旨意，就能晓得事情的真相（七17）。但是就连这样的心，有的时候还有假的可能。为此，我们要求主的怜悯，保守我们有一颗真实要神旨意的心。……谎言……不需要代价，谎言是便宜的。我们若要得着真理，就必须付代价〔箴二三23〕。这是得光照的第二个条件。求神怜悯我们，使我们真有一颗要神旨意的心，并且愿付代价得着真理（倪柝声文集第二辑第二十四册，二○五至二○八页）。

12One principle of enlightenment is that light shines through an opening. The Lord said that the light is in us in Matthew 6:23. This inner light is the enlightening of the Holy Spirit within. Yet there can be hindrances to this inner enlightening…John 3:19-20 indicates that a man will not receive light once he is prejudiced and has preconceived ideas. Hence, the first hindrance to light is prejudice and a refusal to come to the light. The deeper a person is in the truth, the less assurance he should have of himself. A person who is prejudiced and who does not want to come under the light is dangerous. The second hindrance to receiving light from the Lord is one’s desire to receive glory from men. There are certain conditions one has to clearly fulfill before he can receive light. The first condition is having a heart that seeks after God’s will. If one seeks after God’s will, he will know the true nature of things (John 7:17). However, even such a heart cannot always guarantee that we will not be deceived. Therefore, we have to ask the Lord for mercy so that He would put in us a heart that genuinely seeks after His will…Lies do not involve any price; they are cheap. If we want the truth, we have to pay a price [cf. Prov. 23:23]. This is the second condition for receiving light. May the Lord be merciful to us so that we will have a heart that seeks after God’s will and will pay the price to gain the truth. (CWWN, vol. 44, pp. 901-903)
