1壹 信徒由生命的麦子所象征；这些麦子要被收在主的仓里—太三11~12，十三24~30、38~42：
1Ⅰ The believers are symbolized by the wheat of life, which will be gathered into the Lord's barn—Matt. 3:11-12; 13:24-30, 38-42:
2一 信徒是麦子，里面有神圣的生命；生命乃是神自己给人享受—诗三六7~9，约一4，十10，十四6，六63。
2A The believers as the wheat have the divine life within them; life is God Himself enjoyed by man—Psa. 36:7-9; John 1:4; 10:10; 14:6; 6:63.
3二 我们若要基督的生命在我们里面不受拦阻，就必须经历十字架的破碎，就是基督在包罗万有之灵里的治死，使我们里面的障碍能受对付并被除去，如下所述：
3B If we want Christ's life to be unhindered in us, we must experience the breaking of the cross, the killing death of Christ in the all-inclusive Spirit, so that the following obstacles within us can be dealt with and removed:
4１ 作基督徒的意思是，顾到我们里面活的基督，并且不以基督之外的任何事物为目标；这事的障碍乃是不认识生命的路线，并且不以基督为我们的生命—太七13~14，腓三8~14，西三4，罗八28~29。
4１ Being a Christian means taking care of the living Christ in us and not taking anything other than Christ as our aim; the obstacle to this is in not knowing the pathway of life and not taking Christ as our life—Matt. 7:13-14; Phil. 3:8-14; Col. 3:4; Rom. 8:28-29.
5２ 第二个障碍是假冒为善；人的属灵不是以外貌来断定，乃是以如何对待基督来断定—太六1~6，十五7~8，约五44，十二42~43，参书七21。
5２ The second obstacle is hypocrisy; a person's spirituality is not determined by outward appearance but by how he takes care of Christ—Matt. 6:1-6; 15:7-8; John 5:44; 12:42-43; cf. Josh. 7:21.

6太三11~12 我是将你们浸在水里，叫你们悔改；但那在我以后来的，能力比我更大，……祂要将你们浸在圣灵与火里。祂手里拿着扬场的簸箕，要扬净祂的禾场，把祂的麦子收在仓里，把糠秕用不灭的火烧尽了。
6Matt. 3:11-12 I baptize you in water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is stronger than I…He Himself will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire, whose winnowing fan is in His hand. And He will thoroughly cleanse His threshing floor and will gather His wheat into the barn, but the chaff He will burn up with unquenchable fire.
7新约用生命的麦子象征信徒〔参太三12〕。……那些由麦子所表征的人，里面有生命；他们是神活的儿女。主耶稣要把他们浸在圣灵里（11），并要把他们提去，收在空中的仓里。……我们需要从水和灵生（约三5）。……这样我们就重生成为神的儿女，成为由生命的麦子所象征的信徒；这些麦子要被收在主的仓里（新约总论第五册，一○五至一○六页）。
7The New Testament uses the wheat of life to symbolize the believers [cf. Matt. 3:12]…Those symbolized by wheat have life within; they are the living children of God. The Lord Jesus will baptize them in the Holy Spirit (v. 11) and gather them into His barn in heaven by rapture…We need to be born of water and of the Spirit (John 3:5)…In this way we are regenerated to become children of God, the believers symbolized by the wheat of life, which will be gathered into the Lord’s barn. 8我们要来看，神的生命在我们里面所遇到的难处。
8We need to see the obstacles that God’s life encounters in us.
9神的生命在人身上，所遇到的第一个难处，可说是“不认识”的难处。每一个人得救，作了基督徒后，难得会没有自己的想法，没有自己的观念。……我们里面的观念，都是在黑暗里，叫我们不能认识生命，认识基督。
9The first problem that God’s life encounters in man is the problem of ignorance. After any person is saved and becomes a Christian, he still has his thoughts and concepts…All our human concepts are in darkness, and they prevent us from knowing life and Christ.
10好比我们……刚受浸，就有个观念要大发热心，广传福音。然而……早晨……我们祷告神，与神交通时，这位活的基督在你我里面，把我们摸了一下；祂在你我里面，不断地运行，把我们里面推动了起来，结果故事就来了。……祂不停地运行，使我们看见，从前……责怪丈夫，埋怨别人，是不合宜的，应当去向他们认罪。这样一来，我们的面子就得丢下，到他们面前，对他们说，“我从前实在对不起你，也实在得罪了神，现在求你饶恕我。”这就是基督在我们里面的故事。我们若真认识主，当早晨我们向主祷告，主在我们里面运行，给我们感觉，要我们向妻子认罪，我们在祷告过后，就当谦卑下来，到妻子面前承认已过的不是。承认之后，就要对主说，“主啊，感谢你，你在我里面所运行的，我跟从了。我没有拣选，没有自己的观念；我所拣选的只有你，只有你的观念。”我们若肯这样作，那位活的基督就会非常有地位、有机会，〔再向我们说话，〕给我们感觉。这样继续运行的结果，就会运行到对待别人的事上，可能会摸着我们对待人的不当。这时，我们必须只要基督，不要面子，不要自尊，到人跟前，承认自己已往的不当。如此，我们里面的基督，自然会越发有地位。

11其次，生命在我们里面所遇到的难处，就是假冒。从前在南京召会，有位姊妹说话慢慢的，走起路来轻轻的，无论作什么都是轻声细语的。所以，南京召会的负责弟兄们都认为她很属灵；然而实在说，那是假冒的属灵。我们必须知道慢不一定是生命，快也不一定不是生命。
11The second problem that life encounters in us is hypocrisy. There was a sister in the church in Nanking who spoke slowly and walked softly; everything she did was soft and gentle. Consequently, all the responsible brothers in the church in Nanking thought that she was very spiritual. However, strictly speaking, this was a false spirituality. We need to see that being slow is not necessarily of life and being quick is not necessarily of life.
12生命就是神自己，生命就是基督，生命就是圣灵。凡不是神、基督、圣灵的，就不是生命。所以，那些无论多么够得上道德标准，甚至超过道德标准的，都不一定是生命。
12Life is God Himself, life is Christ, and life is the Holy Spirit. Anything that is not of God, Christ, or the Holy Spirit is not life. Hence, regardless of how much a person can meet—and even go beyond—the standard of morality, this is still not necessarily life.
13生命……就是不理睬你的天性，不管你的爱好，让……基督……简单地在你里面运行，破碎你自己；这时，你凭着基督在你里面的运行所作的，就是生命。若是你凡事都凭天性、天然去作，其结果无论是什么都是假冒（李文集一九五三年第一册，一六八、一七○至一七二、一七四至一七五、一七七至一七八页）。
13The expression of life involves the rejection of our natural disposition and preference and simply allowing Christ to operate in us and break us. Then our actions through the inner operation of Christ will be of life. If we always do things according to our disposition and natural being, the outcome will always be hypocrisy.
